Based in Calgary, AB and Golden, BC Omnia’s partners have been involved in numerous consulting and applied research projects across Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Manitoba and Ontario. Omnia is also the North American distributor and support provider for Followit wildlife telemetry equipment, servicing clients across Canada and the United States.

Professional Associations and Memberships

Omnia’s leadership team, and practicing biologists, are registered with the Alberta Society of Professional Biologists (ASPB), and/or The College of Applied Biology (CAB) and are, as such, subject to a code of ethics, continuing competency and a discipline process. Admission requirements to become a professional member are specified in the Regulations of the ASPB and CAB and include meeting academic, experience, and good character requirements. Maintenance of registration is required, and professional members must fulfill continuing competency requirements, adhere to the Code of Ethic and may be subject to disciplinary action in the event of a complaint. The use of the title, Professional Biologist (P.Biol or R.P.Bio), is protected and means only those members who are in good standing, may use it.

Safety and Insurance

Omnia carries $5M Errors and Omissions, $5M General Liability Insurance, is WCB registered in AB and SK, is registered with ISNetworld and is SECOR certified, and is registered with ComplyWorks safety verification systems.
